Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug and make Ubuntu better.

I see that you're using Xenial, whose standard support has ended back in 2021. For this reason, I am closing this bug as Won't Fix.

On top of that, I have quickly checked the DpkgTerminalLog.txt file attached to this bug and noticed the following snippet:

update-alternatives: using /etc/mysql/mysql.cnf to provide /etc/mysql/my.cnf (my.cnf) in auto mode
ERROR: Unable to start MySQL server:
2022-10-25T01:42:39.450425Z 0 [ERROR] unknown variable 'table_cache=128'
2022-10-25T01:42:39.453029Z 0 [ERROR] Aborting

I believe this tells you what's wrong, and it seems to be a local configuration issue. I would suggest reaching out to the MySQL/Mythbuntu communities.

Thank you.
