The same is happening on my system.

I used strace to see errors in the installation, and i saw this line in /tmp/trace

open("/var/lib/dpkg/info/mysql-server-5.7.triggers", O_RDONLY) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)

Can this be the culprit?
