Comment 1 for bug 912487

New package libmysqlclient-dev_5.5.17-4ubuntu6 from precise does not have the file conflict (as expected:-)

To anyone who runs into this problem: try the following:

sudo dpkg -r libmysqlclient-dev
sudo apt-get -f install
sudo apt-get install libmysqlclient-dev
