Comment 84 for bug 1892440

It's not working for me using nvidia graphic card. The only way to work around is to use lightdm instead of gdm3, but I can't login automatically.
I started using Ubuntu budgie in dual boot until the bug is fixed.
I tried Kubuntu and the bug is also in Kubuntu.
