This bug was fixed in the package multimon 1.0-5, which is scheduled to be released in Ubuntu "Lucid".
I have also made available a build of multimon 1.0-5 for Ubuntu Karmic in my PPA: /launchpad. net/~kamalmosta fa/+archive/ multimon- 1.0-5
