It includes translations (should this be considered a sort of bugfix?) and from the changelog:
 * Error handlers might destroy the connection.
 * Don't popup unread email notifications if the option is disabled.
 * Fix contact removal bug.
 * Properly normalize everything.
 * Possible crash fix when disconnecting and there's a network error.
 * Fix http method over http proxy.
 * Fix add contact bug.
 * Fix memleaks.
 * Fix possible buffer overflow (CVE-2008-2927).
 * Fix initial login (new account).
 * etc...
