Hi,
I had the 0.9.6 and had the problem (no file listed in the dialogbox "File>Open...").
I just update to the 1.0 and still have the problem.
I'm on Ubuntu 10.10 (gnome).
From the file manager (Nautilus), a double click on a .msc file open the program and the file normally.
