I am seeing this with some Ogg files (which are fine in other players). One example is any "Going Linux" Oggcast file.

This is a dump of what I get when I try to play said files.

I know it says that the "Extradata" is corrupt, but these files play fine in any other player. It's just "mplayer" that does not work. I am using "MPlayer SVN-r1.0~rc3+svn20090426-4.4.3" on Ubuntu 10.04.
