Heh, that's a serious gentooism :-)
Having altivec stuff in is fair enough. I don't know why the whole
package has to compile with altivec though, that makes it unsuitable for
G3s, it shouldn't be too hard to only build some files with -maltivec
and do runtime tests, but that's a different problem.
