I talked with the gjs maintainer Philip Chimento who thought that

was a better patch than our fix-gcc6-segfault.patch to fix

That actually managed to raise the UNEXPECTED-FAIL's to 55 in my testing (it did not matter whether I used that -f-no-strict-aliasing rule.)
