What you expected to happen:
If I open the Netbeans 6.7 IDE I expect that the thunderbird mail client will keep open.
What happened instead:
If I open the Netbeans 6.7 IDE then the thunderbird email client is suddenly closed. If I try to launch it from a terminal (while the Netbeans is still running) I get a "Segmentation Fault" error.
I am able to launch the thunderbird again under the following circumstances:
- If I close the Netbeans IDE.
- If I launch the thunderbird (safe mode)
- If I disable the thunderbird lightning extension (that I have installed from the repository) through the thunderbird safe mode.
- If I wait a couple of minutes then I am able to open the thunderbird again; however, if I receive a new mail the thunderbird is suddenly closed.
