Comment 13 for bug 133467

I have experienced same problem on Ubuntu7.10 64 bit O/S.
Adding msttcorefonts did not help.
Uninstalling thunderbird completely and re-installing including place-holder packages mozilla-thunderbird and mozilla-enigmail have apparently solved the problem.
