And how is your network configured, and what is the mount point for your aoetools device?

If your network is configured correctly (i.e., without a dependency loop), and your filesystem is marked _netdev, mountall will retry the mount as soon as the network comes up. But it's possible this is too early, and aoetools itself needs to give mountall a second push.
