If you are still having problems, please:

 * make sure you have mountall 2.14~ppa1 installed (from my PPA)
 * edit /etc/init/mountall.conf and add --debug to the exec line
 * reboot
 * attach /var/log/boot.log to this bug, along with /var/log/udev
