I have LANG environment variable set to "es_AR.UTF-8" and mlgui explodes with the same error that Rodrigo has.
starting it with:
LANG=es_AR mlgui
works. It works too with es.UTF-8. This is not a fix. Is just a clue about the problem and a quick a dirty way to use mlgui. Anyway it starts allways in english so the problem seems to be missing language files
