I'm experiencing the same issue here. Here's my specs:
Up to date Arch Linux

Asus U43F-BBA6 laptop
Intel HD Graphics / 4300

KDE 4.9.2
Mesa 9.0
Intel SNA

Changing to Xrender from OpenGL was the only way I could fix the issue.
