One of my 2 machines (eMachines eM355) had JUST been upgraded (started yesterday) from Precise to Quantal Beta1.

Upgraded, rebooted => Worked great

Applied latest set of today's (and possibly yesterday's) updates, rebooted => Failed, *cry*
