Comment 28 for bug 1285312

After apt-get update, I purged then installed mdadm again, hoping I would get mdadm - 3.2.5-5ubuntu5 but, alas, I'm still getting the mdadm - 3.2.5-5ubuntu4 pkg which subsequently hangs.

I will attempt the upgrade from grub 0.97 --> 2 later as I'm out of time at the moment and the box is remotely administered (I can't monitor and play with the boot and chainloaders just now).
