I still have the same behaviour with lyx crashes even with update of qt's 4.4.0-1ubuntu3~hardy1

after several tries it sometimes works and sometimes not. Highly unstable.

the lyx team comment that the bug is solved in version 1.5.5 due to come out this monday (12 may), see
