1) Lubuntu 12.04 i386 installed to hdd
2) htop 1.0.1-1
3) In my experience with Xubuntu 11.10-12.04 htop opens from the menu no problem, no blank terminal screen as I have experienced with Lubuntu 11.10-12.04. I expect the incorrect blank terminal result in Lubuntu.
4) When trying to open htop from the menu selection system tools/htop a blank non functioning terminal appears. When opening terminal and typing htop, htop is displayed properly.
I have attached a file with 3 screencast showing my experience with htop in Lubuntu.
