Confirmed - Installing 'xscreensaver' alone will NOT fix the issue.

Has solved the issue for me.

Indeed, NO need for xscreensaver service to start automatically so I can confirm that it is OKAY to install the package (xscreensaver) by default to solve this AS LONG AS the service is not going to work by default and that is of course, if the Developers will not find the right solution for this issue without installing 'xscreensaver' :)
