Lubuntu 19.10 QA-test (2019-09-26.1)
on lenovo thinkpad x201 (i5-m520, 4gb, i915)
Battery health is watched during test and it looked normal (mostly had power plugged in). After writing up QA-test report on another box I moved back to shutdown laptop & discovered it was still streaming news - but battery indicator said 0% I expected it higher than that, but sat & watched for it to die.. it didn't.
I clicked on the panel battery icon & "Battery Info" opened up, but all numerical values read 0 (energy full, energy now, energy rate, voltage, temperature) Alas I didn't grab screen capture. I plugged back in charger & values remained 0. I closed & re-opened the "Battery Info" tab & it was still 0. I removed charger cable & all remained 0.
I logged out, logged in again and now Energy full read 14%, Energy Now read 86%, , etc. ie. expected values.
Expected Results : Values remain consistent; not drop to 0
Simon (tsimonq2) reported issues ages back with battery; is this the same as what he experienced long ago??
