Thanks for your work on it. LXDM is a special case in LXDE / Lubuntu, because its configuration files are not at the same place than other LXDE components. To improve the apport hook, you should :
- Remove all the code which deal with the session (configuration files not depends on the session)
- Identify files useful for the reports. You can include at least the main configuration file (/etc/lxdm/default.list), and the log file (/var/log/lxdm.log). Probably other files could be usefull (auth.log, syslog ...), and some output of commands (for Consolekit for example)
- Fix the copyright header (put your name and 2011), and the licence (dupplicaded lines)
