This is at parity with juju-core, which has:
  gccgo-5 [!amd64 !i386 !armhf] | gccgo-go [!amd64 !i386 !armhf], golang-go (>= 2:1.2) [amd64 i386 armhf]

So no concern on this from the Foundations end.
