Same problem with image from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/daily-live/20180526/cosmic-desktop-i386.iso

First boot screen is nothing like description at iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/390/builds/173396/testcases/1300/results

In the live session, can use the launcher to select System Tools, then Install System, and the installer runs OK.
