This does appear to work for me, but after soem experimentation with another Nexus 4 user, it seems that it's very weak... the phone fails to get a GPS lock when in a case, but can when it's not in the case... I don't know how much of the GPS system is implemented in Software vs how much is in hardware... I'm told the GPS on the Nexus 4 is good under Android although I have not tested this...
