Did the machine break while going to sleep or waking up?--- it sometimes does not happen. If i hibernate (using sudo pm-hibernate, seems to work with s2disk for some reason) it will flash that up about 80% of the time when attempting to hibernate. If it hibernates successfully then it shows up a flashing cursor , ctrl+alt+f1 dont work(doesnt display cli . I have to hardreboot to get it to work.
Did it work before?
Has this sleep type (suspend or hibernate) ever worked in the past. If it has which kernel release did it work on? ---hibernate works well using s2disk command, standby still does not work (i meantioned the bug report previously).I have tried the upstream, that didnt fix the problem.
Do you end up with flashing Caps Lock light or similar==NO
