Stumbled across this thread myself whilst trying to resolve my suspend issue on a HP DV6
Maybe this might work, as it did for me:

$sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi.conf

Add a single line:

options iwlwifi bt_coex_active=N
