Yes the kernel I posed at http://people.canonical.com/~jsalisbury/lp992720 had an rc4 tag in the name. That is because they are built during the bisect process, which does a process of elimination jumping from newer to older kernels.
The v3.8 kernel is now avaiable. Can you test that kernel before we continue the bisect process? It can be downloaded from: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.8-rc4-raring/
