Comment 5 for bug 989566

It seems this is related to atl1c somehow:

sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

add the line:

blacklist atl1c

(2) Open Terminal and issue the command:

sudo update-initramfs -u

Restart Laptop is a workaround.
No more wired Ethernet anymore, but the laptop does not crash anymore too.
