Christopher, thanks for the update. Regarding the testing of the upstream mainline build, I have tried in the past to run the mainline builds. However the installation has always completed but with errors. I think this is because, some of my kernel modules are not compiled since there is no *source*.deb for the mainline build. How can I overcome this, otherwise I'm afraid this is not going to be any different from the previous times.
