Comment 0 for bug 981211

on the thinkpad edge 11 described by the attachments, the touch panel freezes at indeterminate intervals for several seconds.

the x log reports that the "TouchPad [...] lost sync at byte [...]".

this is a duplicate of bug #773433, created by request there.
