Samsung NC10 backlight flickers in Ubuntu 12.04

In the latest beta of Ubuntu 12.04 the backlight still flickers in the Samsung NC10. I think there are probably more laptops with the same issues.

This is a critical bug because you can't work properly with this flickering.

This bug is missing log files that will aid in diagnosing the problem. From a terminal window please run:

apport-collect 962906

and then change the status of the bug to 'Confirmed'.

If, due to the nature of the issue you have encountered, you are unable to run this command, please add a comment stating that fact and change the bug status to 'Confirmed'.

This bug was initially marked as a duplicate of bug 919773 but that bug was later marked a duplicate of bug 1028515 but is now unduplicated so I set this bug back as a duplicate of bug 919773.
