Comment 7 for bug 962621

Apologies for not responding earlier, took me a while to get to my laptop.

First things first, I just upgraded to the 3.2.0-23-generic kernel & tested with both the wl and the brcmsmac drivers, the issue persists: turning bluetooth off via the panel applet disables the wireless.

I'll test against the mainline kernel and post the results here. Might take me a while until I figure out how to do that.
