Comment 10 for bug 917962

To bisect and identify which commit introduced this regression, we need to figure out which kernel first started having this issue.

I'd like to have you test the earliest 3.1 mainline kernel, which is:

v3.1-rc2
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.1-rc2-oneiric/

I'd also like to have you test the latest 3.0 mainline kernel, which is:
v3.0.17
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.0.17-oneiric/

It would be great if you could test those two kernels and report back.
