@Christopher Penalver If I need some help bisecting can I contact you? If not who could assist me if I have questions. I am wondering if i can use git clone git://kernel.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ubuntu-maverick.git or if I need to use something else.

since i have to run acpi=off for it to work, what can I type to locate that specific part...
