Is anyone still working on this? This also causes issues with sleep/hibernate.

Also, just to clarify the issue for anyone looking into it, the automatic reboot only happens when the power adapter is connected and plugged in - if it's unplugged or not connected (running off the battery only) shutdown is normal, but if it's plugged in the machine reboots both with and without the battery connected.
