unmounting a GARMIN GPS freezes computer using kernel version 2.6.32-33

Bug Description
After unmounting a GARMIN GPS (Oregon 550) in mass storage mode the computer freezes completely. Keyboard, mouse do not work. Switching to virtual terminal impossible. only solution is hardware reset.

Everything works fine with kernel version 2.6.32-32

btw, the affected version is linux-image- 2.6.32- 33-generic (and not linux-image- 2.6.32- 32-generic as the automatic script reports). Since linux-image- 2.6.32- 33-generic is not working properly, I boot version 2.6.32-32 instead.
