2011-07-28 14:47:53 Herton R. Krzesinski description After update to 2.6.38-10, machine hangs on startup. Used a grub boot (held down shift keys) to revert 2.6.38-10to 2.6.38-8, and all was fine. Completely removed -10, redownloaded packages and reinstalled, same thing. On boot, screen goes all purple, then hangs. No Ubuntu logo. I also have a copy of the relevant syslog entries during the hang. I will try to attach.
