thank you for your mail.

I was actually affected by this issue on previous versions, but since I
upgraded to Precise Pangolin (at least) I forgot it ! I assume I should
have posted to mention it. Anyway it was strictly related to LibreOffice
if I remember well (an active process remained that was preventing from
shutting down).

Considering that, would you nevertheless like me to proceed testings of
the upstream kernel like you are explaining me ? Or would it be of no
help now ? In spite of some knowledge in computing, I don't know what
upstream kernel are. Gonna try to get the information !
