Mauricio: The bug should be fixed in 2.6.38-10.46. Please go ahead and test the actual proposed release to verify this. The following commands should install that kernel over what you have now since you already have proposed enabled:
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install linux-headers-2.6.38-10 linux-headers-2.6.38-10-generic linux-image-2.6.38-10-generic
If that doesn't work then run 'apt-get install --reinstall' for the same packages.
