I've been reloading the module in rc.local with success, you can try it.

If I don't reload the module, the distortion is there. :-( At least I
don't have to suspend the machine. I noticed that sometimes bluetooth
needs the module to be reloaded, but I almost don't use it (and this
is off topic either way).
