After years of trying to get Suspend to RAM to work, I've finally managed to thanks to Tom Black (comments #22 and #25) and ecepez (comment #31).
I have an Asus P4P800 Deluxe motherboard and the issue was indeed the USB Power Jumper settings. Just to make sure I also set up my bios according to ecepez's settings. I have the latest bios available for my motherboard (1021.006)
