I am running on an Asus P4P800 motherboard and for me, after I press suspend, the system powers off, immediately resumes and comes up in a locked state.
After I unlock the system, a crash report is waiting...

apport suggests the following bug summary: "[apport] vbetool crashed with SIGFPE"
