Comment 42 for bug 75497

I have just changed the four jumpers on my Asus P4C800-E motherboard as noted here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/75497/comments/25 .

Many thanks for the advice, my machine running Jaunty with current default kernel 2.6.28-12-generic finally finished the hibernation. No immediate power up as before (even on the 2.6.28-12-generic).

I'm using uswsup's s2disk, the hibernation and resume process itself was working ok before too, but the machine always refused to stop and powered immediately up after S4, I had to manually switch it off before. Now finally ok.
