Bug Description

My laptop doesn't resume from suspend on current natty. Instead it "cold-boots from BIOS" if you know what I mean.. It works fine with the kernel from maverick that I still have installed.

Does it still fails if you pass the option noexec=off in the kernel command line?

I think this can be related to https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27472
If that's the case, an upstream fix is on the way, was released on 2.6.38-rc4
