I've come across a bunch of ACPI issues (or that's at least what I think it is) on the new Dell XPS 15 (LX501) running Ubuntu 10.10.

The issues include

 - Not being able to adjust screen brightness
 - Battery is wrongly reported as not rechargeable, and with capacity lower than 5Wh
 - No valid temperature readings (I get one that is always 27 degrees)
