I reinstalled my Maverick (64 bit -> back 32 bit) and the suspend was frozen almost every time. Now I installed 2.6.36 from:

http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.36-maverick/

and seems to fix the suspend again on 32 bit.
