Comment 40 for bug 648742

This is not harddisk related. I unplugged near everything in my computer, the "clack" sound still occurs. Seems this comes from the internal speaker. It occurs before anything is displayed on screen. I remark suspend works well (with the live USB and 10.04) only when this sound does not occur at startup. I suppose my bug is not an Ubuntu issue but probably an hardware one. I'll try to confirm.
