Tanks Dann for pointers to the upstream patches in comment #32. I've cherry-picked the patches for Precise and have built an i386 generic-pae test kernel. Please test and let me know your results.

Once we get confirmation these resolve the issue for Precise, we can work on doing the SRU's for previous releases.
